Pregnant or have a new baby up to two years old? Help Me Grow at Action for Children provides FREE home visiting support for families in Franklin County to make your job as a parent a little easier.

Help Me Grow

Help Me Grow is a statewide program that partners with local agencies to provide young families in Ohio with a continuum of services from birth to school entry, supporting parents through the critical first 2,000 days in their child’s life. This evidence-based parent support program encourages early prenatal and well-baby care, as well as parenting education to promote the comprehensive health and development of children.

What It Means for You

Through Action for Children, families in Franklin County can receive in-home support. Action for Children’s Help Me Grow Family Support Specialists:

  1. Help you plan a healthy pregnancy

  2. Share tips to help your child be healthy, stay safe, and get ready to learn

  3. Promote optimal parent wellness by assisting with stress management and self-care

  4. Connect you to appropriate community resources
